My cousin Gabbie was constantly overworked. By just applying two of my speed reading techniques, I was able to help her gain back the time that she was losing to reading newspapers, trade journals, and magazines. She was amazed at the speed that she could read through the material, and still REMEMBER all the important points. Not only did she read faster, she read better!
Charles was a friend of a friend that got recommended to my book, and he was skeptical at first, because he couldn’t believe that his reading speed could really improve by so much. Actually, one of the reasons why I became the speed reader that I am now is because I just simply had no choice. I HAD TO. You don’t know me, but if you do, you’ll know that I don’t have much time to do anything. If you’ve seen my workload and the things that I occupy myself with, then it becomes clear. I am a workaholic. Sometimes I take on work from my friends. Sometimes my "friends" take advantage of my character and actually just leave their work for me, knowing that I would complete it for them. That’s why I always get flustered and annoyed. Time just didn’t seem to be on my side.
For 4 whole years I suffered like this, until I knew I had to do something. That marked my journey to become the expert speed reader that I am. And that led me to become such a good reader that reports, textbooks, journals, and other material would just vanish within minutes, and I would have all the points that they were talking about, freshly imprinted in my mind! It was then that I suddenly became more relieved….deadlines didn’t seem so imposing afterall. I used to be busy all the way up to exams, but with my new speed reading skills, I could finish reading my exam material within the day itself!
