Every game you join, your only thoughts are when the 9 other players in the same game as you are going to start flaming you, your relatives and what they would do if they had their way with them, preferably while you uninstall the game. You’re probably wondering why these players are such pricks. You’re probably wondering what makes their skill that much better than yours that they can openly express their hatred for you in that manner. I just want you to know, you’re not alone. I used to wonder the exact same thing. I had plenty of questions that I had no answers to, like


At the time, games felt bad for me. The only thing that kept me going back was the simple fact that I had tons of fun with the game. I was always bad at Real Time Strategy games but I was just drawn in to DOTA because there wasn’t so much macro management involved. It was EASY I thought.



Or so I thought. Controlling a single hero isn’t as easy as it seems now, right? I mean, you’re here now because you’re having that exact same problem, which is how to excel at DOTA2 when it still only requires you to use just one hero. Well, as would most players dejected about losing but really wanted to keep going because they enjoyed the game, I researched, played and learned the game. I’ve got to admit here. It took me months to improve my game. There were more than a hundred heroes to learn. Each game took 30 to 50 minutes. That alone would mean a minimum of 50 hours of playtime playing EVERY HERO for the FIRST TIME. That would mean each and every game I played for the first 50 hours is me on a new Hero doing everything for the first time. I don’t even know how I can synergize… Read more…
